1.1 – ITC recognizes the immense potential of new technologies for its trade related technical assistance activities, and we aim to incorporate them into our activities. We are also deeply aware of the risks involved, and of the importance of developing appropriate data protection standards and putting them into effect. As a result, ITC has adopted the Policy which enables us to undertake our operations whilst safeguarding individual personal data.
 
1.2 – ITC is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors and securing the personal information made available by users of ITC websites as well as ITC web pages on other sites (such as official ITC profiles on social networks) (hereinafter the “Website”). if you are either a “Processor” or “Buyer & Retailer”: business name, business type, business location, products or services and affiliation with project partners ; Following the provision of the aforementioned information, users may decide to supplement their profile by including additional information about their businesses, product and or services, geo-locations of business headquarters and production / processing sites, sustainability assessment, compliance to existing certification together with proof of compliance, and various media depicting production and processing sites, techniques and product, together with information pertaining to your sustainability network.
(d) information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our email notifications and/or newsletters (including your name and email address)];
(e) information that you provide to us when using the services on our Website, or that is generated in the course of the use of those services (including the timing, frequency and pattern of service use)];

business name, business type, business location, products or services and affiliation with project partners ;
Additional information provided regarding your business, product and or services, geo-locations of business headquarters and production / processing sites, sustainability assessment, compliance to existing certification together with proof of compliance, and various media depicting production and processing sites, techniques and product, and anonymized network.
(l) send you notifications from companies wanting to contact you];
(m) use business profile information to generate aggregated and fully anonymized analytics depicting average company sustainability at a national level across specific products/services;
(n) use business profile information to enable companies to compare their sustainability performance against anonymised aggregated business profile information sets across specific products/services at a national level;

 

4. Disclosing personal information

4.1 – We may disclose your personal information:
(a) to the extent that we are required to do so by applicable law;
(b) in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and
(c) in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
 
4.2 – We may disclose your personal information to any of our officials, professional advisers, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and auditors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy.
